When filing Form 1099-MISC, federal law mandates that all payers must send 1099-MISC copies to recipients in order for them to file their income tax returns. You can choose to e-file Form 1099-MISC using 123PayStubs and let us send recipient copies on time on your behalf.
A payer has to issue two copies (copy B & copy 2) to the recipient by January 31st.
Note: If the deadline falls on a weekend or a legal holiday, the deadline will be the next business day.
