Year-to-date is the amount of income earned and deductions paid for the year, which comes useful during tax filing to file your tax return.

Here's how YTD is calculated in 123PayStubs:

  • Enter the employee earnings for the pay period, and 123PayStubs will consider the earnings to be the same every pay period and compute numbers accordingly. For example, if an employee is paid on a monthly schedule of $500 for April, YTD will be calculated as $500*4= $2000.
  • If you've already created pay stubs for employees and creating it new for a pay period, then YTD will be calculated based on the recent generation of pay stubs.

Though the YTD values are automatically calculated, you can edit the numbers.
